Oh so beautiful sweet Laurie!!! Are you on a kayak or canoe looking in at this? How mysterious. Just love the waterfall and what looks to be a cave in the back. Can you swim here? Looks heavenly!
Laurie Search replied:
Thank you so, so much, dear Elizabeth!! I truly appreciate it!!! No, I wasn't in a kayak or canoe...This pool that you see in front of the waterfall wasn't very big, so I was just standing at the edge of it! And yes, there were people swimming and going back in the cave!!! I didn't, though.....the water was absolutely freezing, and I am such a baby about cold water, lol!! It is such a cool spot, though!! And on a really hot day, you might be able to get me in there!!! :)))

Beautiful capture of the light playing on the falls and in the shadows...love the lens flare!

This is really an amazing place - did you swim under the falls? - v/f
Laurie Search replied:
No, I didn't...I didn't have my bathing suit on...but on the walk up, I was thinking that I was going to go in in my shorts and tank top cuz I was so hot...but then when I got there and got my feet in the water and waded up to my knees...wow, that water was freezing, lol...And actually, there's apparently a cave back there, too...A couple of people swam back there when we were there. But yes, it really was gorgeous! Plus, I was pretty occupied with my camera, lol! Thank you so very much, dear Bob!!! :)))
