Description
You may remember me telling you about (and posting a photo of) the 150-foot waterfall that is situated at the end of a cul-de-sac in a residential neighborhood. Well, the little trail to that was on the right side of the cul-de-sac. The small trail to this waterfall here, which is 75 feet in total, is on the left side of that same cul-de-sac! Pretty incredible, right?! I was blown away to find these two beauties in this neighborhood!! This one was hard to photograph because pretty much the only place to stand was right where I was standing when I took this photo. There was just a small ledge I was standing on that was big enough for me and my tripod. Right behind me was a decent sized drop as the waterfall continued on, and there was really nowhere just a little further down where you could get in close to the water, until the creek leveled out quite a bit! But wow, was it gorgeous there! San Rafael, CA

Now that's what you would call a cascading water fall! Sounds like it was treacherous to capture it, but that's what we photography nuts do . . . hee! FL
Laurie Search replied:
LOL, yes, we do what we can to get the shot, don't we?! Thank you so very much, Kathi!!! I truly appreciate it!! :)))

Wow! I read your description and two thoughts: First, how cool to have such beauty beyond the cul-de-sac! Second, you be careful, my friend!! Golly! As I was enjoying your image, I thought (not for the first time) how random water is. It makes its own path and makes its own route down. Your image really captured that. Love the results of you taking too many risks. Heh
Laurie Search replied:
Aw, thank you so, so much, William, for caring about my safety, and for the wonderful compliment!!! I really am generally very careful, and my husband usually keeps me very safe, too.... and this was only a little dangerous, lol... :) And yes, you are definitely right about water, and this image does show that point extremely well, doesn't it?! Water is an amazing thing!! :)))
